Unique Offerings

Throughout the year, Inner Illume guest speakers host a variety of free meditation sessions. Subscribing ensures you stay informed about these events and opportunities to participate.

 

Inner Illume Monthly Meditation

Our Monthly Meditation is a free 4-hour event, typically held once a month. Sessions generally include:

  • Announcements / Kōrero
  • Energisation
  • Pranayama (breathwork)
  • Readings
  • Affirmations
  • Devotional music
  • Guided meditation
  • Longer periods of free meditation

All participants are welcome to participate in any Part(s) of the Monthly Meditation sessions. Part A, is designed with those new to meditation in mind. Part B and Part C are designed for deepening our practice.

Meditations are held on allocated SUNDAYS (NZST) with sections beginning at:

The theme for our May 2026 Never-Ending Meditation will be Peace. Here is the program for attendance in person and online: Sunday, May 17th, 2026:

Part A: 9am-10.30am approx.:

1. Korero and Announcements (5 mins),

2. Guided Energisation (15 mins),

3. Stretching and Series for Releasing Blocked Energy (5 mins),  

4. Guided Pranayama (5 mins),

5. Invocation and Prayer (2mins), 

6. Reading with Moni from Yogananda’s “Inner Peace”, Chapter 4, How to Be Calmly Active – Centred in Peace No Matter What You Are Doing, pp.38-42 (15mins), 

7. Music with Alexandra on peace as an expression of and vehicle to the Divine. Bengali and English: Shanti Mondire, CC., pp.62-3, In the Temple of Silence, ACB., p.68, (10 mins),

8. Meditation: Guided, ending with the AUM chant (20mins),

9. Affirmation for the month with Ellen (5 mins),

10. Bathroom break (5 mins).

Part B: 10.30am – 12pm approx.: 

11. Reading with Sunari from Yogananda’s “Inner Peace”, Chapter 5: Peace in Your Daily Life – Essential Principles and Practices, pp.44-54 (15mins),

12. Music calling for peace in times of conflict with Alexandra and Anju: The Answer Is Peace, by A. Hart., Wartime Lullaby, AS., p.249, God Is Truth, God Is Love, AS., p.81 (15 mins),

13. Meditation: Self-Directed, ending with the AUM Chant (40 mins),

14. Divine Mother Healing Prayers with Serena (10 mins),

15. Bathroom break (5 mins). 

Part C: Extended Meditation 12 – 12.45pm approx.:

16. Reading with Ellen from Yogananda’s “Inner Peace”, Chapter 6, The Wisdom Perspective that Leads to Inner Peace, pp.56-61, (10 mins), 

17. Music with Alexandra and Anju that reminds us that peace is present in everything and everyone: Peace, AS., p.194, Make Us Channels of Thy Peace, AS., p.169 (10 mins),

18. Meditation: Closing Practice, ending with the AUM Chant (15 mins),

19. Reading of Yogananda’s Poem “Samadhi”, with Alexandra (5mins),

20. Lunch, departures and join Man’s Eternal Quest Book Study.

Please note: until further notice, we’ll be finishing our Never-ending Meditation 15 minutes early. This is to support those who are also attending the Man’s Eternal Quest Book Study, allowing a little space to gather, transition, and arrive there with ease.
